Humber Apprentice Panel
The Humber Apprentice Panel (HAP) is the first Apprentice only panel; it was formed in September 2007 and is made up of a diverse group of Apprentices from across the Humber sub-region. The Panel offers Apprentices the chance to discuss their experiences and have their voice heard. It also gives the Apprentices the opportunity to gain more confidence in discussing their futures and will help them to develop better communication and debating skills. The Panel also has links to the National Learner Panel and the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Learner Panel.
At present, the Panel includes six Apprentices from across the Humber sub-region.
The panel has four specific objectives:
· Set up a forum to enable Apprenticeship communication
· Promote Apprenticeships to young people
· Raise awareness of Apprenticeships to employers
· Inform decision makers, key influencers and stakeholders
As an Apprentice you can discuss all aspects of your Apprenticeship with others in the forum, it also includes useful information about your Apprenticeship, Frequently Asked Questions and Progression. HAP has also created Facebook & Myspace account to complement the forum. To access the forum visit
