Yorkshire and the Humber Apprenticeship Awards 2010
The CfL team will be attending the Yorkshire and the Humber Apprenticeship Awards 2010, taking place on Thursday 20 May 2010, at Leeds Town Hall and will include a drinks reception, gala dinner and awards ceremony with entertainment and performances from local up-and-coming stars.
Hosted by BBC Look North presenters Harry Gration and Christa Ackroyd, the awards ceremony will be a spectacular event which will shine a spotlight on the success stories of Apprenticeships within our region.
As the current Advanced Apprentice of the Year for the Yorkshire and the Humber region, Dave Thompson was invited to be a part of the judging panel for the awards. Out of the seven Advanced Apprentices shortlisted for this year’s regional awards only one of these was nominated from the Humber sub-region. This was Samuel Buckley, an Advanced Apprentice with Ideal Boilers, who has completed his Advanced Apprenticeship with Hull Training.
